Job Description

Lovestyle Africa Development Initiative is an organization established to engage and empower citizens to function effectively in society. Our strategy is to use all available communication technologies to reach out to citizens.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our Strategic Communications Division. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our citizens’s engagement efforts.

 

 Responsibilities of Social Media Manager

  • Designing and implementing social media strategies to align with our organizational objectives
  • Defining and refining social media KPIs and measuring the success of every social media campaigns
  • Monitoring the organization’s social media accounts and offering constructive interaction with users
  • Creating high quality and visually engaging contents including polls and videos across our social media accounts
  • Staying up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Communicating with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

 

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven capability to use social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and instant messaging applications
  • Hands on experience in graphics design and digital content creation
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Degree/HND in Marketing, Communications or related field
